The Architecture of Stillness.

WOVEN.

Autumn Somatic Residency

May 15–17, 2026 | Mount Tamborine

For the woman seeking stillness, clarity, and a return to her own rhythm.

This Autumn, step away from the noise and enter a mountain-top sanctuary designed for rest, reflection, and quiet re-orientation.

Across three days and two nights, WOVEN is an intentional somatic residency blending restorative movement, sacred art, and embodied writing.

Here, we trade performance for presence.

We soften the nervous system, listen closely, and allow what is no longer needed to gently loosen — making space for what is ready to emerge.

The Residency

The property blends 1980s Hacienda-inspired architecture with contemporary luxury — earthy textures, raw timber, bespoke ceramics, plush king beds, and private balconies designed for quiet mornings and long exhalations. Communal spaces invite gentle connection, while fire pits, a mineral pool, and spa facilities support deep rest.

The rhythm of the days is intentionally unhurried. Guided practice is balanced with spaciousness — time for walking, swimming, reading, or simply being. This is not a retreat of achievement, but one of sovereignty, safety, and calm.

Your Hosts

WOVEN is held by Sonja Mapleston, senior yoga teacher, alongside Alexandra Payne (Embodied Writing) and Hillary Wall (Art Therapy).

Together, they hold a small circle with care, presence, and discernment — offering grounded guidance across somatic practice, writing, and art within a carefully tended container.

The Three Pillars of WOVEN

The Unweaving — Somatic Inquiry
Through gentle daily movement, meditation, journaling, and embodied writing, we begin to soften habitual patterns and trace the threads of the stories we carry. Inspired by somatic inquiry and reflective practices, this pillar invites a quiet loosening — noticing what can be released, and what wishes to remain.

The Weaving — Sacred Art
Guided by Hillary Wall, sacred geometry and art-making become a way to ground emotion, restore rhythm, and translate insight into form. This process offers a tangible, visual map of what has been integrated — a meeting point between body, intuition, and meaning.

The Stillness — Elemental Ritual
One evening is devoted to a private, after-hours immersion at SOL Bathhouse. Across ninety minutes, you’ll move through thermal pools, cedar stone sauna, botanical steam room, Himalayan salt sanctuary, and alfresco fire pit. This elemental ritual is designed to support deep settling — a somatic homecoming for the body and senses.

    A Note on Integrity

Registration & Cancellation: To maintain the energetic container of the residency, a non-refundable deposit of $550 secures your sanctuary.

Our cancellation policy is designed to be reasonable and fair; we believe in a "Ritual of Change" that respects both the facilitator’s preparation and the guest’s life circumstances. Please [Get in Touch] for our full terms of agreement.

  • The Ritual of Change: Our Cancellation Policy

A residency of this nature is a delicate architecture. To ensure a high-touch, intimate experience, we strictly limit our circle to 12 women. Because each place is held with intention, a cancellation affects not only the logistics of the estate but the energetic balance of the group.

This policy is designed to be a fair and transparent agreement, protecting the integrity of the container we are building together.

    The Deposit

Your initial payment of $550 is a non-refundable commitment to yourself and the residency. It allows us to secure the private estate and begin the curation of your bespoke experience.

    Attendee Cancellation

Should your circumstances change and you find yourself unable to join us, we offer the following paths for your investment:

    • More than 90 days from arrival: A full refund of your payments (less your $550 deposit and a $200 administration fee), or a 100% transfer of your credit to a future residency.

    • 60 – 89 days from arrival: 75% of your total investment may be applied as credit toward a future residency or online offering (valid for two years).

    • 15 – 59 days from arrival: 40% of your total investment may be applied as credit toward a future residency or online offering.

    • Inside 14 days from arrival: At this late stage, your place is fully committed. No refunds or credits can be offered. However, you are welcome to gift your place to another woman, provided she is a fit for the residency's intentions.

Please note: No credits or adjustments can be made for late arrivals or early departures.

    A Note on Global Circumstances

In the unlikely event that government-mandated travel restrictions or estate closures prevent the residency from moving forward, 100% of your investment will be refunded, or you may choose to transfer the full amount to our rescheduled dates.

    Our Commitment to You

Should we be forced to cancel the residency for any reason, you will receive a 100% refund of your tuition, constituting a full settlement. Please note that we are unable to assume responsibility for external expenses such as airfare or lost wages. We highly recommend securing comprehensive travel insurance to protect your journey.
