The Architecture of Stillness.

WOVEN.

Autumn Somatic Residency

May 15–17, 2026 | Mount Tamborine

For the woman seeking stillness, clarity, and a return to her own rhythm.

This Autumn, step away from the noise and enter a mountain-top sanctuary designed for rest, reflection, and quiet re-orientation.

Across three days and two nights, WOVEN is an intentional somatic residency blending restorative movement, sacred art, and embodied writing.

Here, we trade performance for presence.

We soften the nervous system, listen closely, and allow what is no longer needed to gently loosen — making space for what is ready to emerge.

The Residency

The property blends 1980s Hacienda-inspired architecture with contemporary luxury — earthy textures, raw timber, bespoke ceramics, plush king beds, and private balconies designed for quiet mornings and long exhalations. Communal spaces invite gentle connection, while fire pits, a mineral pool, and spa facilities support deep rest.

The rhythm of the days is intentionally unhurried. Guided practice is balanced with spaciousness — time for walking, swimming, reading, or simply being. This is not a retreat of achievement, but one of sovereignty, safety, and calm.

Your Hosts

WOVEN is held by Sonja Mapleston, senior yoga teacher, alongside Sandra Kafrouni (Embodied Writing) and Hillary Wall (Art Therapy).

Together, they hold a small circle with care, presence, and discernment — offering grounded guidance across somatic practice, writing, and art within a carefully tended container.

The Three Pillars of WOVEN

The Unweaving — Somatic Inquiry
Through gentle daily movement, meditation, journaling, and embodied writing, we begin to soften habitual patterns and trace the threads of the stories we carry. Inspired by somatic inquiry and reflective practices, this pillar invites a quiet loosening — noticing what can be released, and what wishes to remain.

The Weaving — Sacred Art
Guided by Hillary Wall, sacred geometry and art-making become a way to ground emotion, restore rhythm, and translate insight into form. This process offers a tangible, visual map of what has been integrated — a meeting point between body, intuition, and meaning.

The Stillness — Elemental Ritual
One evening is devoted to an after-hours immersion at SOL Bathhouse. Across ninety minutes, you’ll move through thermal pools, cedar stone sauna, botanical steam room, Himalayan salt sanctuary, and alfresco fire pit. This elemental ritual is designed to support deep settling — a somatic homecoming for the body and senses.
